So Tom called Victor (the Forman he worked with on the last house down here) to ask some questions about constructing the second floor of the casita.....Victor was so happy to hear from Tom he came over to check it out and said he would be willing to help out. The next day he showed up at 8 AM with his crew! and they went to town.... it was incredible! Needless to say we were not expecting all the extra help. In exchange for helping with the casita Tom is working hard to get them their next project. He is also going to teach Victor and his crew how to polish concrete so they will have a new and unique skill to offer down here.
P.S. there's a huge swell here right now .... our beach is rumbling.....Tom is loving the big waves ....I took a set on my head and decided to head back in and wait till it drops a bit!
