Jungle hunt...

Welp we found something else tasty back in the jungle ..... wild oranges! Our friends offered to take us to find oranges last weekend. Not exactly sure what got lost in translation but we thought we were hiking back to her fathers citrus farm ... you know like nice little trees all in a row....after about 40 mins of hiking we hung a left off the trail and started bush whacking back the jungle up a hill/mountain side....next thing we know, there we were in a wild orange tree fiesta. Our friend chopped up this long green stick thing and made us a orange picker (which was a stick with a loop at one end) and up went Tom in the jungle trees to pick oranges. It was a serious eye-hand coordination work out....first you had to get that little orange 10 feet away thru the loop, pull it down and then go find the darn thing after it fell and rolled half way down the hill. We worked hard for our oranges! On our way back we picked up some more bananas....(ya those stalks are about 65 -80 pounds!) We have a whole new appreciation for our oranges and bananas!
P.S. if you look hard enough you will see a orange in the first pic.... and Tom up in the tree the 3rd pic
