Grandma takes Rosie to Disneyland...

The story begins .... my mother LOVES Disneyland .... no, she really loves Disneyland ... so much so she's been taking my Dad every few years cause she just has to go get her fix ... even if there are no grandchildren available to go too! So I can only imagine she has been planning this weekend since the day she found out we were prego! Mothers Day at Disneyland.....Tom and I were a bit skeptical ... Rosie's too young, we are too old, gosh LA is such a far drive with a baby, really?(well, ok you know us .... not really worried about that one-ha ha) Disneyland with a 13 month old? Well, boy were we wrong! What an amazing trip! I'm not sure who had more fun, Rosie, mesmerized by every little detail, or all of us dotting over her excitement. In hind sight 13 months as a perfect age .... old enough to be captivated but young enough to fall asleep anywhere ... like on your mom when she's riding Pirates of the Caribbean and the haunted house ...A big huge shout out to Mel and Dan for sending us off with their deluxe, reclining stroller ...Rosie was so cozy in her queen chariot all weekend and so was all our stuff!.... in fact we didn't even need a crib Sat PM cause she never woke up out of the stroller!

Rosie watching Donald duck for the 1st time with Papa in the hotel lobby while Grandma checks us in

Riding the monorail to Disneyland!

Our first ride on the train to get Grandpa's special gimp pass (this is the way to go to Disneyland by the way .... just break someone's leg or find someone with a blown knee to drag along .... b/c of my dad's blown knee we were able to go the front of the line and he got special help getting on and off the rides... sure made for a much more relaxing experience for all- thanks dad for having the foresight to time your Knee injury so well!)

Papa, Rosie, and Grandma not waiting in line...

Papa and Rosie get ready to take off on Peter Pan

Riding the carrousel

Grandma's favorit ride ... and probably Rosie's too now -It's a Small World

The beautiful head board at the hotel ... with a push of a button the back board would start playing 'if you wish upon a star' and the the fireworks and stars would light up ..... pretty cool, even 27 times in a row....

Mother's day we had brunch at Goofy's Kitchen ... yum yum!

Rosie enjoyed snacking on Mickey...

we got visited by lots of characters ..... here's Baloo!

We walked off brunch in the rose gardens before heading back home

Thank you Mom and Dad for such a special Mothers day! We're in .... three years, Disneyland here we come!
