Well Tom and I got some real excitement this last week.... we were walking home last Friday, minding our own business when this alien hover craft (aka black 4 door Chevy truck with CA plates) pulled down our street. While a black Chevy with CA plates might not perk your interest we just about dropped our boards in shock and since we speak alien, we had to hear their story.
Jesse began his adventure in mid January from Orange county and has been on the ultimate surf journey that every surfer dreams of doing. He has surfed countless incredible waves all the way down thru Central America and has the endless wild stories to go with it. Now after shipping his truck to Ecuador (because you can't drive this little no mans land in Columbia) he's begun to explore South America. His traveling companion since Costa is Emily who has picked up the stoke of surfing and is charging after just 2 months!
We invited them to camp in the back yard and spent the next 2 days surfing the tail end of the south that was here. Tom was so excited to have a surf buddy to drop into big stuff with and i enjoy surfing with a fellow female! We had such a good time getting to know them and i can't tell you what a refreshing breath of fresh air their company was .... spending time with like minded people who enjoy cooking good meals, getting plenty of sleep and best of all surfing as much as possible!!!
