School is going well .... after two weeks we can now get ourselves around town realitivly well and carry on limited conversations in spanish. We do best when at least one person who is part of the conversation speaks both spanish and engilsh well ... so they can toss in an english word for us when we begin to get lost..... We are at the point of really needing to build our vocab and it get´s frustrating when we struggle so hard to say the words correctly ..... it´s one thing to know words but if you can´t say them correctly no one can understand you! The classes are moving quickly for us .... we are learning new grammer everday (gosh there sure is a lot!) .... we have asked to do two days of repeat next week so we can have some more time to process .... over all we are really enjoying the experience .... it feels great to be challanged to learn again .... after a long break from collage!
The rain has let up a bit (at least it hasn´t rained durring the day in a week). With all the rain have come the mosquitoes (sp?).....i hate masquitoes!!!!! We have started sleeping with our bug net .... which is really cozy feeling when we are all tucked safe inside. Of course i still get bit no matter what i do (outside of sleeping) and Tom doesn´t .... so not fair!
